Symonds sent home from T20 World Cup

Cricket Australia have finally gotten fed-up with allrounder Andrew Symonds and sent home for another disciplinary violation.

The cricketer apparently broke team rules related to alcohol and other issues.

This is not the first time Symonds has faced disciplinary problems:

In 2005 Symonds was banned for two games for turning up drunk to a match against Bangladesh in Scotland - a match Australia shockingly lost.

In 2008 he was again dropped from the team for disciplinary reasons - this time for failing to pitch up for another game against Bangladesh. This time Symonds decided to go fishing instead.

He missed the South African tour of Australia at the end of last year because went out drinking and was involved in an accident.

Andrew Symonds just recently signed a new Cricket Australia contract, but apparently they’ve taken the offer off the table!

Not only has he let himself down, according to Ricky Ponting Symonds let his team down with his undisciplined behaviour.

The Australians are not describing the incident, besides saying it was alcohol related.
