T20 warm-up game updates

South Africa beat Pakistan by 59 runs in the warm-up game at Trent Bridge

In the other warm-up game South Africa beat Pakistan by 59 runs. Electing to bat first South Africa posted a massive total of 186/7 in their 20 overs. Graeme Smith scored 70 runs of just 52 balls. H.Gibbs (42 runs of 23 balls), A.Morkel (32 runs of 14 balls) and J.Kallis (26 runs of 22 balls) were other useful contributor.

Chasing a mammoth target of 187 runs to win, Pakistan was bundled out for 127 runs in 19.4 overs.

Australia beat Bangladesh by 38 runs in the warm-up game at Trent Bridge

Australia beat Bangladesh quite comfortably by 38 runs in the warm-up game at Nottingham, Trent Bridge. Electing to bat first Australia got off to flyer by their openers Shane Watson (52 runs of 23 balls) and Brad Haddin (47 runs of 29 balls). They reach the score of 100 in just 8th over. However Mahmudullah four wickets some what peg back Australia but in the end they reach the score which was way behind the reach of Bangladeshi batsman’s. Australia scored 219/6 in their 20 overs.

In reply Bangladesh scored 181/7 falling short by 38 runs.
